Within the B&L Machine and Design organization you will find one of the most advanced auxiliary remanufacturing programs in the industry.
Our total press system provides enhancements on all auxiliary equipment, such as splicers, infeeds, chill stands and folders. We provide the same service and quality for our remanufactured folders as we do with each remanufactured press unit. Sub-assemblies are disassembled to side frames, all components are cleaned and inspected, all wear items are replaced and enhancements implemented.
Additional advantages you will receive with our folder program include:
- 1,800 F.P.M. front or rear delivery Harris two-former folder systems.
- All bores measured and corrected where necessary.
- All bushings, bearings, gripper shafts and grippers replaced and enhanced where available.
- Lubrication system updated to the latest Harris system.
- All delivery belt idlers modified to accept ball bearings.
- Controls replaced.
- Delivery drive updated to eliminate the long drive chain.
- Narrow gap blanket cylinders (.180 inch)
- Upper folder drive updated from gear driven to belt driven.
