Remanufactured M-110-RE
B&L Machine and Design has now taken our expert technical knowledge of the M-1000-RE and applied it to the line of Harris M-110 press equipment.
Printers now have the option of utilizing the older M-110 press systems and remanufacturing and enhancing the equipment to better-than-new standards. The M-110-RE provides significantly improved print quality, as well as operator and maintenance convenience not previously achieved with the older M-110-RE systems as originally manufactured.
Below are just a few of the enhancements and features found on the M-110-RE press system:
- Blanket cylinder gap is narrowed to .190 inch for increased print length and improved harmonics, which provides better high-speed performance.
- Rollers are industrial hard-chromed for durability and increased life.
- Plate and blanket cylinder bearers are updated to H-13 AOD tool steel.
- Plate cylinder lock-ups are updated to a "Dog Bone Quick Lock-up" system.
- Plate cylinders are enhanced with heavy duty plate cocking to decrease gap bounce.
- Unit function air solenoid is replaced with manifold style for improved reliability and maintenance.
- Drive bay support is added to enhance drive shaft stiffness, which reduces harmonics.
- Harmonic drive units are replaced with a new reinforced style.
- Ink fountain ratchet drive is converted to M1000 BE motor driven design to improve ink control and reduce shock to the inker system.
- All new sheet metal is provided.
- Quick-access gear covers are installed for eased maintenance and visual inspection.
- Centralized greasing system created by B&L is added to aid in more efficient and reliable greasing throughout the unit.
- New hanger enhancement for tandem roller is added for eased maintenance.
- Touch screen operator console is provided to enable the pressmen to operate the press from one centralized location (Screens are customized to meet customer specifications).
